You can also watch stand-up comedians do their act. Sure, they may be scripted, but pay close attention to how they deliver each joke. That is what they set themselves apart from others. The same joke could be delivered by a regular Joe and will have such a different meaning. But the comedian understands how to say the joke properly, including timing, body gestures, and facial expressions. If you can learn a few tricks from the pros, it’ll great help your GAME.

Lastly, try to mimic others who are funny. I know that I told you to watch stand-up comedians in the previous paragraph, but those are scripted performances. Now we want real world examples. I want you to make some observations the next time you hang out with a group of friends. Who is the funniest guy? Who has the women captivated by what he has to say? Take some notes on what makes those guys successful. Next time you’re out, you can then use those same techniques to engage women.

They get up to a girl in a near sweat, and try to pull a line out of their back pocket as fast as they can. Many panic and say something that basically kills their shot at the girl. Or they are so focused on the timing that when they finally get their chance, they let it slip between their fingers because they don’t know what to do next. The time limit may make them feel that the goal is getting to the girl in time, rather than having a conversation with her or getting her number.

The intentions of the 3-minute rule were good, because it forced you to get off your ass and do something about your desire. If you saw a hot girl enter the room, you probably would have waited the whole night before you approached her. And by that time you got enough courage to talk to her, another guy would have swooped in and taken your spot. But it had its flaws.

The most important aspect of the 3-Minute Rule that I definitely agree with is eye contact. Eye contact is the most powerful way in which you can communicate your interest in a girl from a distance. If you can make eye contact, and hold it, it tells the girl that you have confidence, high self esteem, and know what you want and will do what it takes to get it.

Now, don’t get eye contact mixed up with a freakish stare-down. You might just scare her away if you do that. More than 3 minutes may have passed, and according to the rule, your chances of nabbing the girl have just gone down to zero. But here is where I disagree with the rule. So if even 15 minutes have passed, the lasting effect of the initial eye contact will still be with her, and it would be very appropriate for you to approach her.

But don’t hesitate, as there is such a thing as waiting too long. Like the saying goes, “the early bird gets the worm.” That holds true in this situation. If you see a girl, it is imperative that you send her the signals by making eye contact with her. After that, you have properly set yourself up to make the approach.

Sometimes it is even better to make a second or third eye contact. This really depends on the situation, though. If you are in a cozy bar, then multiple eye contacts before you approach the girl is appropriate. If you were in a larger club, you might not have the chance to bump into the girl again, especially if she hits the dance floor with her friends or even worse, another guy.

Each guru definitely shared very insightful secrets and tips. Given the constraints, they were not able to go as in-depth as they would have liked, but they went deep enough to give a firm understanding of the key principles. This is a great intro product to more detailed programs, but I feel that you need something more introductory before diving in head first. Eleven percent of men in the U.S. report that they have conducted multiple sexual relationships at the same time during the past year — a behavior that could be contributing to the spread of HIV in the country — according to a study published online on Tuesday in the American Journal of Public Health, Reuters Health reports. For the study, Adaora Adimora of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and colleagues examined data from a 2002 federal survey that included 4,928 men between ages 15 and 44. The study showed that 11% of the men said they had at least two concurrent sexual relationships during the previous year. Among this group, most said they had only female partners.

The study found that the men were more likely to report that they drank and used drugs during sex and that their female partners also were involved in other sexual relationships, Reuters Health reports. In addition, men with more than one female partner were more likely than monogamous men to have sex with another man, according to the study. Black and Hispanic men were two to three times more likely than white men to have concurrent sex partners, the study found (Norton, Reuters Health, 10/30).

“The higher concurrency prevalence in various groups, dense sexual networks, and mixing between high-risk subpopulations and the general population may be important factors in the U.S. epidemic of heterosexual HIV infection,” the authors concluded (Adimora et al., American Journal of Public Health, 10/30). “This study sheds light on the epidemic of heterosexually transmitted HIV in the U.S.,” particularly among blacks and Hispanics, Adimora said, adding, “People, especially women, need to avoid partnerships with people who have other partners” (Reuters, 10/30).
